Strengthening VC Families Social Workers

Social workers play an integral role in the lives of our children and older youth in care as well as the biological and resource families that care for them. They are at the forefront of our mission to protect children by strengthening families while walking alongside them and providing unconditional support to guide them back towards reunification whenever safely possible.

While our social workers typically go unnoticed as they work diligently behind the scenes, we are working toward erasing the stigmas that surround their hard work and put a face with a name to show a human side to their remarkable efforts to keep families together. At Strengthening VC Families, we are grateful to each and every social worker who continues to make a difference in the lives of our families in Ventura County.
