Specially designed class for resource parents building on the knowledge gained in the CSEC 1.
This NEW training is specially designed for resource parents to build on the knowledge gained in the CSEC 1 Building Awareness Class (previously offered as CSEC: Awareness & Identification.) We will briefly review indicators of commercial sexual exploitation as well as:
• Harm reduction (This approach aims to reduce the impact of risky behaviors over time and to assist the youth in their long-term safety and stability.)
• Trauma informed care
• Available county and state resources.
• An interview with a local survivor of CSEC
This never-before offered class meets requirement in the written directives Section 6-06 (22); Section 8-01 (b)
