Below is a list of organizations that you can utilize for resources for families or to donate goods or funds to support children and families affected by the Thomas Fire.  CFS is continuing to identify community partners offering support to families and children directly impacted.  We will continue to update you:

Homeless Services: Those who are in need of housing information may leave a message for Homeless Services at 805-385-1800.  Calls will be returned.

Medi-Cal, CalFresh and CalWorks: Those who would like to apply for Medi-Cal, CalFresh and/or CalWORKs may do so online or in person.  Applications for Medi-Cal and CalFresh are also accepted by mail and by fax, and by phone for Medi-Cal.  Applications for General Relief are accepted only in person.  Learn more

The America’s Job Centers at 2901 N. Ventura Road in Oxnard and 2900 N. Madera Road in Simi Valley are open to assist those seeking employment, including those who have lost their jobs due to the fires.  Learn more

Note: If you know of a Resource Family/ Youth affected by the fires and need resources, please contact the partners mentioned above for support or a member of our Foster VC Kids team. They are ready to help and meet a wide range of needs. Please have your current contact information ready, what kind of support you need, as well as the name and contact information for your social worker. Caregivers/ Families may contact  resource partners directly or CFS Staff may refer them for support.
